Boosting the Bankroll

The G2 Demoiselle for 2yo fillies at Aqueduct represents the last chance to build my bankroll prior to the pick 4 starting in the 7th race, the G2 Remsen Stakes for 2yo colts.

The field for this one is less than desirable. The top Beyer in the field was posted by DISPOSABLEPLEASURE in a 11-length Maiden Special Weight victory at Belmont for Todd Pletcher, and six of the ten horses have failed to break 70 in their brief careers. Only a handful of runners catch my attention here:

CAPTIVATING LASS won a 1 mile 70 yard race at Parx in her debut and is out of A.P. INDY so the added distance should not be an issue. She is eligible to improve in her 2nd career start under the care of Kiaran McLaughlin.

WILDCAT'S SMILE hasn't done anything wrong in three minor stakes for NY breds, including a win the NY Breeders Futurity against the boys. The only problem, two of those races came at Finger Lakes, however she has been steadily improving.

AWALKINTHEMOONLITE tries dirt for the first time after winning the Gold Digger Stakes on the turf at Hawthorne. This one comes from the clouds and may not have the early fractions to run at.

LADY COHIBA is unbeaten in two starts, including the May Night Stakes in the slop at Aqueduct. She's part of an entry with recent maiden winner WEE PARTY.

INDYNIABLE may be my eventual play. This daughter of A.P. INDY won a seven furlong maiden race at Keeneland in October and travels to NY for Christophe Clement specifically for this race. She should relish the extra distance and has every right to improve in her third career start.

I will use that one on top and bottom of exacta plays with the ML favorite, CAPTIVATING LASS, and WILDCAT'S SMILE for $5.
